It has been quite dull and humid for the last few days and a lot of us were feeling the heat. Anyway things have improved today so hooray for that.

When Karma Fails at Least I have the Smiths. Then all the vicious officials everywhere. Would get their share of misery. Their lives would be ruled. Who fill them with dread. Sunday, 9 August 2015. The geometric thistles I photographed in July are now demonstrating their final amazing piece of evolutionary adaptation, thistledown. Thousands of seeds waiting to be carried across the fields to start the process again. Each seed has the equivalent of a feather or parachute attached to it.
